It's fucking cold in here
So I am at my mother's house doing laundry. I am in the computer/laundry drying room and damn do those drying clothes make it cold in here. My mum and larry are on a cruise again. Is anyone surprised? I love that they can do that though...I really do. I hope one day I can go on vacation every two months, but for now I am stuck in lovely Indiana.
I have a paper to write tonight and I dont want to do it. And its not like it can be a crappy draft because I have to meet with my prof tomorrow to review it with her, so basically I cant just write I love cheese over and over again to just get it done.
Last week was a bad week. I felt like shit physically and emotionally and I dont think I left my apartment that much. Oh well I needed the time to recuperate. I think I was just getting burnt out and it was affecting everything, school, my friends, bob, my family everything. So I took some time to just relax and that helped I think.
This weekend was a pretty good one. Bob came to get me Friday afternoon and I went up to Seton Hill with him. He had some music thing to do so I took the car and went shopping. Really had no idea how to get around Greensburg, but dammit I'm a woman and I can find a mall!!! So I went to Gabe's. That was great. I bought a suit for like 15 bucks. I love suits. I dont think anyone can look bad in a suit, plus the pants make my ass look really hot...which I'm sure will be great for all of those teenage boys looking at it while I'm teaching ;).
After that I still had like three hours to kill, so I figured I'd give my cousin a call because I never see her and she lives in Greensburg. She didnt answer so I figured she was at work. Well she happens to work at sears in the Westmoreland mall so I went to visit her. Spent a little more time shopping and went to pick Bob up. That night we went to the waterfront (we do that a lot) hung out and Dave and Busters for a while. It was a good time.
Saturday we went to the final band show of the season. It was uneventful...wait..it wasnt. Some stupid guy (another instructor) tried to get in a fistfight with Bob(mind you this is ON the field while they are giving out awards) because one of Bob's kids called him an asshole and this idiot thought it was Bob. Yeah so that was exciting. Came back to Indiana and went out that night. Sunday we laid around and did nothing which was fun too.
Today I went to one of three classes. Woo hoo for me. Well my second one was canceled because we are having individual meetings with her and there was no way I was waiting around for the third one. I went to work then went over to ryan's for a bit. We were discussing writing a letter to the Penn about gay bashing and hate. I think I'm going to write it. He told me in the last week he and some other people have been called faggots and all this other shit. The one kid was even told to run if he didnt want his ass kicked because he was gay. I will not even get STARTED on my rampage with the stupidity of that because I dont have the energy and my fingers are freezing off. But keep an eye out in the Penn for a letter from me about the whole situation.
