Hi folks, long time no see.
I have a question but am not necessarily expecting a specific answer.
Every day it seems more and more likely that I will be carrying our child instead of my wife. I had a brief panic this morning when I wondered whether I'd be able to get the related medical business covered by insurance.
Of course I know that it varies by insurance companies, etc., but I was curious whether anyone -- especially those of you with personal experience -- has any insight on this. For some reason I'm still listed as female on my current insurance (have be legally male since 2010), but as I turn 26 next year, I'll be finding a new company. (Any recommendations?)
I realize this is a different beast than top surgery/hysto-related insurance questions, which is why I'm making my own post, as those in the tags weren't quite what I was looking for.
Thoughts?
