insurances in Texas to look into?

I'm sorry I've been posting about this a lot, but I don't know where else to turn. I called my insurance today, and was basically told I was given completely false information. Nothing about gender identity is covered on plan, so i have to pay my monthly, but then still pay %100 of my doctor visits. I'm going to be shown how to do my shots myself so I won't have to go in, and my perscriptions are still covered. But I don't really get why I'm paying for insurance if it's doing me no good. So idk if i should find new insurance or what I should do? The insurance lady used a lot of words I didn't understand and I don't really know which route to take.
