Tommy Gunn got his covered through a public hospital a year or 2 back. He was uninsured at the time, and it was 100% free. This was in the bay area I believe. He also got his hysto for free.

I got my hysto covered by the SF health plan 5 years ago, and my copay was $400.

It was their policy at the time, Now they have expanded it to include genital surgery. Now that I have private insurance.
