please note, i HAVE checked the tags on this and read the available info but it wasn't helpful.
i managed to change the marker on my DL almost a year ago in MI. I don't actually live there anymore but haven't bothered to get a new one since I don't drive anyway. none of my other markers are changed. now i am applying for fafsa. here's what i'm wondering: besides pride and being outed to my school's financial office, is there any good reason to report myself as male and not female on my fafsa application? it seems like (based on what other guys have said here) it will just open me up to a lot of stress and hassle. since my birth certificate and SS card still say female, will it cause any sort of problem if i put female on my fafsa application since my driver's license says otherwise?
