Applying for school and fasfa

EDIT: I think this post confused people. Bottom line my fasfa says Female and my school says male. Does anyone know if this is going to cause a problem?

So I filled out my fasfa and it asked me if I was signed up for selective services and I said no due to legally being female. However, when I applied to school i put my gender as male and I am already taking classes there and they automatically registered me as male(signed up in person). Has anyone else done this? If so, did you get screwed by this? I looked thru memories but didn't see this question listed there.
