Zero Population Growth; remember that? I was reading about a man in the Philippines who walks three hours a day to get 'what he hopes is' clean water for his SEVEN children. SEVEN. Presumably, even before the typhoon he had nothing. Happiness? Maybe, sure. People love their children but come on. And I've never read how the one child per family thing in China worked toward their population problems. Supposedly they are lightening that up soon. As humans, we're gonna put ourselves out of business at some point. yeah I had four myself, count me in as part of the problem. Not that I'd take any out since they're here. Humans. All of us. Warts and all. Won't be here for it to be my problem. It makes me sad. You save a child's life now, they grow up and have more kids that may likely be starving. I dunno.
