Thrift store galore

So, Ruth and I have moved into a new rental house. It is an old 1950s structure, but cozy and has hard-wood floors. Once the landlords fix the list of things needing attention it should be good to go.

This Labor Day weekend I decided to visit the giant Thrift Store, which is now just down the street. It is the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. My goal was to get some vintage ties and maybe a few shirts.

I ended up with six new ties - 2 from the 1950s - and two new shirts (all of which I can wear for teaching) and the grand total was $10.36.

Will totally be coming back to this place...
