Friday
Update time, now that I actually have some free time to catch my breath!
First and formost, I will not be making it home for Homecoming this weekend like I promised you guys. Things up here are just very hectic with Midterms and such, I need to stay up here and concentrate on my studies, I'm very sorry I will not be able to deliver on my promise.
Tuesday I went to Southern's Band and Choir concert and let me say this, they were AMAZING!!!! They sounded so professional and the selection of music was very appropriate for the concert theme, Music for an Autum Evening. I was going to go originally to see how good they were, but had an even better reason to go since Elise is in the Woman's Choir, so I got to go see her perform, which was excellent as well. After the concert I gave her flowers and she loves them, they're still in her room by her bed in a Marlins cup(because she didn't have a vase lol). So after that we just hung out and talked about the concert ans such, before I left to go to bed.
Wednesday we went out to dinner to The Wing House for my friend Garret's birthday. So Brandon, Garret, Matt, Nick, Justin, Devin, Sabrina, and I load up and take him out to dinner. The whole time was non stop laughs between Nick and Matt fighting back and forth and Brandon and Garret sharing 50 "Asians" lmao. So that was Wednesday night.
Thursday night was horrible, don't want to talk about it.
Today I woke up and went to class and am about to head off to a speech competition for extra credit in my Interpersonal Communication class. Tonight our 3rd ranked Women's volleyball team takes on #13 FGCU. We're fresh off an upset of #1 Tampa last Friday night infront of 1,000 plus in Jenkins Fieldhouse, MOC PRIDE!!!!
So, studying this weekend, volleyball tonight, and I'm sorry I can't come home, hope everyone has a happy Homecoming!
