(no subject)
I'm putting together a CD of contemporary folk music for my mom, which I decided yesterday would make a good Mother's Day present, so I've been going through my somewhat extensive catalog of folk music and man! Some of this music is such a downer. Sure, there's some bad-country-song "my girlfriend killed my dog and rode off in my pick-up" kind of stuff, but even the better songs are more clever and introspective and yet still, "I'm wallowing in my deep sorrow." I need to find some peppier songs.
So Veronica Mars? Still better than average television, but can the mysteries of the week please be a little meatier if we don't have a multi-episode arc going on? Thumbs up to Guest Star Paul Rudd, thumbs down to more Emo Logan.
People that I send emails to in which I ask a question should really respond more promptly, especially if it is time sensitive.
