I just finished reading "A child called IT" by Dave Pelzer. My eyes were wet the whole time I was reading it (well, not really but almost, haha). It's a true story, the author writes about his experiences as an abused child when he was young. It was a unbelievably HORRIBLE!!! His alcoholic MOTHER would beat him until he was black and blue, burn him

Yeah... it's a sad story.
There are other books too...about 4 others, I think.
