Okay, Dad took back the antenna he bought at Lowe's, and bought another at RadShack...
Moved the antenna mast from the side furthest from the TV stations to the side closest to them...
Rerouted the coaxial cable so as to limit it to only one line...
Added a signal amplifier...
And the reception is actually WORSE than it was under the original system the lady had before we started monkeying with everything.
We don't know what's wrong.
We're in complete agreement that it must be something amazingly stupid.
I hope this is the last time he volunteers us to do something of this nature.
