I'm really not doing very well at updating this.....mostly because Shoples has been taking up lots of my time. We had a stall at GTRA Neighbours' Day which was not as successful as we had hoped because virtually nobody turned up! Then we had Marple Carnival where again we had high hopes but in the end it was a bit slow and the craft tent was well off the beaten track so there were not too many people but the reactions were encouaging.
Then over the weekend just gone we were at a school fair in Timperley and did really quite well. Partly due to kids there having quite a bit of money and partly because there were only four other craft stalls there. Certainly our results with the stall are encouraging enough to make the whole thing worth putting more effort into. So far all our stalls have been in conjunction with Nostalgia Knits which works well and keeps prices for the stall down. Of course it also means we have less stall space.
Today PepperDog has come to stay for a little holiday. So with resident flossdog and milliedog who has been staying for the last few weeks, we have 3 dogs at home. It's good to have plenty of doggy company although I'm told Pepper loves the bed so it could prove to be an interesting night!
