(no subject)
So today started off kind of slow, but luckily picked up. My roommate Ellie, she's also a lighting designer, have been hanging out today. We got bored and rearranged the furniture in our living room area. We also tried to send my Slinky "stepping" down the stairs with no luck, but some one commented that it works better on carpeted stairs. We also went on the hunt to found out if any of the lounges in our building have a tv only to find out that our floor seems to be the only floor with a lounge.
All the new students who did orientation over the summer are moving in today, so it's been kind of noisy. Oh, I also managed to make my self stupid because of a can opener. I was trying to open a can of chicken with the can opener I just got, but couldn't get it to work. (Of course I just remembered that there is an electric can opener in my closet.) So I went down the hall knocking on doors to see if anyone had a can opener I could use. Finally these two guys answered and they had a can opener and of course I used the can opener the wrong way in front a good lookin' guy. Oh well.
Second City is going to be on campus tonight, so I'm going to go see that. Tomorrow my roommate and I are going to meet up with my G.O.D. parent who is a second year lighting designer.
I need to order one more book and I am done, granted out of all my classes there are only two books needed so far.
It is really annoying when people don't respond to important emails.
