Fighting Master Iago with a 2h sword was a real opportunity to figure out how to counter specific things. We both kept throwing a shot that landed on the other, so we both need to mull it over and find out how not to get into that double-kill position. He would throw a cross cut to my chest, and at the same time I would drop a cut down across his back and right shoulder. We somehow found ourselves doing this time and time again. He would cut my chest from my left to my right, and I would cut down his back from the center to the right. I think a couple of changes in position would eliminate the problem from both sides. Perhaps I could shift my weight right and drop the tip in front then push for a thrust. Perhaps he could take one step to his left to move offline from my attack, allowing his chest cut to land before my shot finds him.
Its worth mulling about with someone in armor, anyways.
