[edit: this work computer is weird. it just closed my internet explorer browser in the midst of my typing...and its not the first time it's happened...thank God for saved drafts!]

6 days to hawaii!!!
2ish more hours of work left today...
3 days left of work for this week...
weekend rolls around and off i go!!!

tonight i'll solidify travel plans with effie so we'll have more of an idea what we'll be doing and buy the go-oahu card that we need for discounts. then i'll make crepes coz i've been craving to make that for the past 3 days.

tomorrow there's spinz around, and then i'll possibly meet up with raija for coffee before she leaves for haiti...then research for the statement of intent for my masters.

thursday there's small group volunteering...still considering if i shld go. but i'll be away for 2 weeks so i probably shld...esp when there isn't that many weeks left before i'm gone for good. but i'll see...i really shld get down to my essay.

friday i'll send my car off to get the motor oil changed, then i'll stay home for a nice relaxing night (oooh i love those!) and write my essay...or watch a movie with a nice cup of hot chocolate and maybe bake something :)

saturday get my car back...have a chat with britta on skype and continue with that essay. go for another nice relaxing night!

sunday hopefully squeeze in some shopping, then packing and essay with whatever time i have left.

monday sleep in! (depending on whether they'll want me to come in for 2hours in the morning...) make sure everything's packed and ready to go...and the next thing you know, i'm off!

oh i'm just so excited for the beach and the surfing and the snokelling!!! not to mention the refreshing coconut juice and all the wonderful gourmet perks of being in the tropics! the warmth of the sun, the feeling of burying my feet in the sand, the coolness of the water and thinking to myself, ahhhhhhh this is life! then i'll just lay there on the sand getting warmed up by the sun...when it gets too hot i'll find myself some nice shade and read a good book. it'll be even better if i can find a hammock! when the sun starts to set, we'll find a nice chill restaurant with good music and enjoy the sound of the waves, watching surfers try to catch that last one...of coz we'll also do the touristy things like go on tours and see some museums...but we get to dress for the tropics! flip flops and sandals, tank tops and t-shirts, shorts and skirts oh how i missed you so! i'll try not to think about my fat belly when im there, nor my horrid skin problems...just the sun :) i'll come back nice and tanned and relaxed.

YES!!!
