I've agreed with my parents that I'll be moving back at the end of June (just till I get a job after which I can get my own place), informed Cat and Leon that they'll need a new flatmate and started searching for ballet lessons in Northampton. All that's left is the public announcement I guess

I don't often do unhappy entries - I can't help feeling I'd lose half my friends list!

Just legal work again to start with just to get myself back on my feet, but I'll try and keep up the creative side this time as well!

The distance from Brighton to Northampton is pretty small on a global scale.

I know - I've been consoling Cat with the thought that I'll just as easily be able to visit her in Brighton as my friends in York, Leeds, Falkirk (!) etc. It's just that at the moment I can't even afford to leave Brighton to visit anywhere else other than occasionally London or (even more occasionally) Northampton, which sucks.

You are doing the right thing

If you are seriously lacking in money, remember a solid base of operations is what you need - by going to your parents you can build things up and see everyone you need to. Just remember that you are doing this for yourself and not for anyone else.
