The weekend...

Most of the weekend was spent watching Ace of Cakes...

This resulted in me having an extremely strange dream about someone wanting to have a cake made in the shape of the WTC.

With planes flying at it.

And then Duff threw them out of the bakery and Geof actually had a reaction to something.

Weird.

I thought Winchester was going to have to go back to the vet today. A couple of weeks ago, he had to have an abscess on his cheek drained. And since the drain came out, there's been a largish lump there. Hard, not squishy. It hasn't been causing him any problems, but it's been bothering me.

Yesterday, we noticed that the lump is finally going down. This morning, it was almost completely gone. So...I'm going to keep an eye on it and him. If it gets worse or he starts feeling unwell, straight to Hamish, he goes. But, for now...

He just won himself a "Stay Out of the Car" card. :)

Weller is being incredibly cuddly this morning. He came in earlier and wanted a cuddle, but Winchester was already here. After a while, Winchester got up...Weller took his spot. *LOL*

Allonsy is playing in the window (sun is out). Xanthe is sitting on the Blu-Ray player staring intently at me (probably because Weller is here). And Freya?

Fairly certain Freya went back to bed. *LOL*

Thomas' tree has leaves! And when I was taking the rubbish out this morning, I noticed that there are even MORE leaves on their way.

The nectarine tree has another flower bud on it. The chili plant has leaves...waiting for buds to start appearing.

Things are growing but, most importantly....they're living.

It's Monday...work today. Work tomorrow, too. In fact, work all week. It's an all-week work week for me...with the exception of a couple of hours on Wednesday when I see the surgeon for my consultation.

I guess since it is the beginning of my work week, I should probably start getting ready.

No more Merrick on the breakfast show on Nova. It was bad enough when Rosso left. But, Merrick stayed. Now he's gone...and they've moved the idiots from the afternoon show to mornings.

Not really sure how that's going to work for them. :(

Thankfully, I always have Giles the iPod with me...

On that note, I need to move a couple of cats (Winchester has returned in the time that I've been writing this) and go get ready for work.

Good day, all. :)

weird dreams, thomas' tree, impending surgery, furkids, plants
