Post-parade

Still seem to be terribly busy despite the book having had two launches and a nice big parade as well.

For those who came last Wednesday, and those who didn't but still like to see nice frocks - see Circa's blog for parade pics.

It was a great night - Andrew McClelland was the best MC, he had everyone laughing, including the models (yes, they were laughing as they showed off their beautiful frocks). I've been involved in a lot of parades over the past twenty years but this is the first time the models actually looked like they were having fun. Why can't more parades be like this?

The night went all too quickly - so lovely to see people, sorry if you were there and I didn't manage to see you/kiss you/hug you. It was one of those crazy nights, I doubt there will ever be another like it in my life.

My wonderful assistant, Victoria, took over 500 photos including some great audience shots (yes I'm looking at you missmargaret. It was fun going through them because it gave me a clearer idea of who was there and who I didn't get to hug/kiss/talk with. Oh well: you know that I wanted to, I hope! If no one has any objections, I might post some up here (locked post of course) when I have some time (haha).

Also - I'm giving away a copy of Love Vintage book to someone who can correctly identify which dress was worn back to front? Prize includes postage to anywhere in Australia (not to overseas, sorry, it's a biggest, heavier than it looks book although I am going to get postage quotes so if it's not too pricey I might extend the offer).

So go check out the pics! Please post your guesses as a comment on Circa's site to qualify for the prize.
