We both voted last week. I will be glad whan that's all over with!

Well our party went pretty well I thought. And now that’s it’s over it seems like the season is over. Halloween is tomorrow and I should be more excited. ~ponders~

Anywho, I spent the day cooking and cleaning and poor little DD was just trying to stay out of my way.  I finished up, woke up Frosty, put everyone into costumes and got down stairs. It wasn’t 5 minutes before my guests arrived.  First were my people from work. I suppose there were about 10 people. They brought us some lovely things for the home. (Mostly Halloween themed) and sat around, ate the food and talked about work. Man… Ok, we did have a few interesting moments and some good talks, but nothing really note worthy.

Then about 2 hours later our friends started showing up. They were in costume. I was so happy to see them. Most of them were past Willows folks. (People we knew while doing time at the Willows apartments) and Steel Jaw was able to drag her hubby along and we got to chat with them as well.  Our friends, of course, scared away my co-workers. So they all left and we had just friends for awhile. It had been a long time, so we talked through most of the night. It was nice, but now we live even further away from our close friends.

Tomorrow I plan to pick up my award winning pumpkin from work. (It won the most original) Today at work was Halloween fun day. Folks dressed up and they had a pumpkin contest. I brought mine in yesterday and had a friend put it out for me. It was two pumpkins in one. I had a white one carved like a brain and a traditional one with a goofy grin. I’ll post pictures soon.

I also plan to take DD to the mall. They are giving out Halloween toys and will have a bouncy castle. She loves those. These are pre-events. (Before the stores start giving out candy) Then off to get the pumpkin, then home to dress up, and off to scope the neighborhood for bad eats. Over all, a great year.
