Fwee and Damn you bands that also like Califonia!
Today I got my second last piece of art in the mail, Was a badge from The Gneech, ill post pics later with the rest of my stuff...hehe lazy fox again :p
I also have come to the conclusion there are way too many good songs about California. Most of which make me, not exactly homesick but basically the same thing. Have to have a home to be homesick.
I start my new Job at Stream on the 12th, so after a month of no money ill have a good cash flow that should allow me to go to AC, assuming I find a room and such before then. Usually not a hard thing to find.
And since I have some time off work I have time to get things done.
1) Get my fursuit going. Going to have Stitchwolf look at my sewing machine then ill be able to get that rolling
2) Restart the Tournament of Blades. Tried to get this going last year but it failed since I moved away at a bad time for all involved. That and all my weapons have been thrown out.
So
Its a boffer/Padded Weapon duel style tournament, maybe a few special matches(IE Endurance round, how long can you fight off 2 or more opponents.)
Would be a cash prize at the end, not a large one but then the entry fee would also pay for your weapons creation.
So far I have figured out how to make Sword,Axe and Staff style weapons but I'm willing to try others. They are made of PVC pipe and open cell foam padding, so they are ultra light, keep that in mind when requesting your weapons
Im thinking a 5-10 dollar fee, weapons run 2-6 bucks usually and mass production brings down the cost.
