arrrrrg too much to do at Otakon D:

Hi, don't mind my rambling, it just helps to to figure out what I'm thinking when I write it...

I had a nice little schedule in my mind of what I was going to do each day at Otakon, and then this post comes along with all its Hetalia goodness and throws a wrench in it. D:

I was planning to go to the noon photoshoot anyway, and I can stay for the dub premiere. But I'd love to see the voice actor panel too, but it goes til 4, and the Durarara shoot is at 3:30! I guess I can just leave early...but I need to go back and switch costumes between then, too. D:
I would just make Saturday Hetalia day and do Durarara Friday, but mikki_tsukiyomi isn't gonna be there that day and I wanted to meet up with her while I'm Izaya. :C

I'm not going down Thursday to pick up tickets, so I'll be standing in line Friday...maybe I'll just be Poland that day so I don't MELT.
And then chibi!Prussia Saturday for all the Hetalia awesomeness...yeah, that sounds good, that's my fave costume so I want to wear it at the big thing~
And theeeeeen Chibitalia group Sunday. :3
it would be kind of really convenient if that was Saturday and I could do Durarara Sunday...

...but WHEN AM I IZAYA dammit. D: I would just skip that costume for this con, since I don't have a wig yet either, but...I really want to have a Durarara cosplay for the Dollars meetup! I dunno what to do now...orz

OTAKON BUDDIES- WHAT STUFF DO YOU HAVE PLANNED???
Just so I can know if I'm missing anything awesome, and so I can stalk you down and such. C:

In other news, let's talk about the Hetalia dub. I'm loving most of the stuff I'm hearing, personally. :D It'll take some time to get used to, of course, but I think they're doing a good job overall.
I was briefly upset by the script changes in America's clip, but then I realized that even though it's different, it's still funny, so I don't care. Heck, that'll give me some new stuff to laugh about. I'm actually buying the DVDs, since I actually want to watch the dub.
I'm surprised how many people are being offended by it. I mean, I could see where it could be offensive- but isn't that kind of a running theme with Hetalia? Borderline offensive? I dunno, it just seems odd that so many people suddenly have a problem with it.
Then again, it's ridiculously hard to offend me, so. *shrug* I'll just be insensitive and laugh.

otakon, hetalia
