I had coffee and muffins with my sister on Saturday and already posted about that... so yesterday I ended up taking a ride with my sister, her husband and their youngest, Jacob to the Rhinebeck farmers market.
We had breakfast first and then took a walk around and they brought produce and I sampled a few things and ended up making a few purchases of my own...
not exactly "produce" but it is locally grown... and the wine I did taste was delicious. The gentleman that helped me select the wine from Tousey looked tasty as well. I may have to take some time to visit the winery and see if I can spend a little more time with him since we had to cut our conversation short so I could meet back up with my sister.
The mohair is a beautiful color and I can decide what I'd like to make with it, the woman was spinning right there at her booth and the spinning wheel looked so much more efficient than my drop spindle. If I were really into it I'd consider one but I'm not that into spinning...
I did a few extra hours at work today as one of the guys wanted to leave early since it was his birthday and his family had plans.
So not much else going on... tomorrow I should have time to go running since I'm working the closing shift.
