Yoga... it does a body (and a mind) good...

So between the studio AC going, my surgery (minor as it was) and the teacher's vacation it's been 5 or 6 weeks since the last class. Tonight was the first night of the new session and even though I practice myself there is just something about getting together and practicing that feels nice. Tonight's meditation really helped settle the over-thinking of everything my brain does and the rest of the week other than Monday was relaxed and good so I'm not the emotional, depressed mess I have been for the past couple of weeks.

I'm still not as thrilled about going to Pennsic as I should be, I've been losing interest in the SCA for a while now and I'm thinking that this may be the last time I go. I'm looking forward to seeing some friends but the rest I can take or leave.

Still trying to decide if I really want a Kindle, if I needed it the choice would be easy but I have the lap top and even though a Kindle would be easier for travel it's more of a toy and I haven't bought something I didn't need in so long it's hard to spend money even though I have some extra now. I don't know anyone that has one so don't know what they're like... my mom and sister both have iPads and love them but I'm sort of anti-apple and iTunes hates me anyway and I get just about everything through Amazon...

I think this weekend will be a bit of Pennsic prep, sewing, packing and I should write a little since I haven't in a while. The rain may have stopped for now but the water is still a little high, muddy and full of some rather large storm debris so paddle boarding is out for the weekend.
