GAME BLOGGIN IN PICTOVISION

WOO. Just some more dribbling about what I'm up to in Fatal Frame III. This one has AWESOME FIVE-MINUTE PICTURE ACTION to go along with it though so it might not be as boring as last time.

Well, I was Miku and I had to go find the Mirror of Loss. Did it. Wasn't that hard at all, really; the puzzles in this game aren't too bad, even if the fighting's much harder. So I go and get this mirror and try to bring it back into the shrine so I can put it on the mirror pedestal. I get there and Miku won't stick it there. WHY MIKU.
Using a magical gamefacks trip, I figured out that I had run past a bunch of ghosts that I was supposed to look at because I'm just that smrt. Took the picture and then I had to fight House Master hand lady. :[ Could be worse, I guess.

Miku proceeds to run down The Spiraling Stairs Of Dramatic Suspense-Building for about a minute. Them's some long stairs. When I get to the bottom, I get to fight with one of my least favorite ghosts to fight evra - the little hammer-and-pick girls. And there are like FOUR of them oh god. I almost died. I literally had like a centimeter left in my health bar, one herbal medicine and Miku was panting really hard. HUHHHHHH HUHHHH. I couldn't even understand what she was saying as she ran down the path in the next area. She whites out right before you open the door and you know STUFF IS GOIN DOWN.

Now, you know you're having trouble when you're being consoled by Rei. Miku seriously reminds me of a little bunny or something in this game. She stands around looking all nervous in the living room with her hands to her chest, and Rei gives her a little pat on the head to make her feel better. Don't worry, Miku, we're not all gonna die! ...NOT

This drawing is extra bad because I did the layers wrong! This cutscene was really touching to me. :< Miku sees Mafuyu in her dream, and refuses to stop chasing after him, even though she probably knows that she's going to die because of it. "We all die eventually..." Rei chases after her frantically and shouts to her, but she can't catch Miku.
...Muffy does look even more handsome in sexy FFIII graphics, though. *snrk*

Now Miku's asleep like Yoshino and won't wake up. YAYYY DON'T THINGS JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER REI? While she's angsting, the doorbell rings and she lets it ring like 3 times before she even GETS UP. Sheesh. Well, I guess I can't blame her. She opens it and YAAAYY HERE'S KEI. They can't have a party because Miku is comatose. Boooo. They proceed to have a mini staring contest instead and then go to Miku's room.

AND THE SEXUAL TENSION STARTS IMMEDIATELY OF COURSE She's my best friend's girlfriend~
lol, I gotta admit I was a little surprised by that, but I guess it's more because Rei's just so downtrodden she needs someone to lean on and Kei's the nearest in the vicinity that isn't sleeping like a dead priestess. Kei looked more like "uh okay go away" then "HEEEEEEY LADIES~" though.
Kei announces that they need to AMPUTATE. Okay, maybe not. He says that people go to sleep forever like this and then poof into soot. BUT THEN

DA DA DAAAAA HE PULLS OLD LIFE-SAVING JAPANESE TEXTS OUT OF HIS BOOTYPANTS' POCKET. Let's save Miku! I know I'd be sad if she died.

And... that's about where I left off.

On another note, I watched an episode of House the other night and it was actually pretty good. I liked it more than Battlestar Galactica, anyway. It's kinda sad that a show about a cranky doctor and his lackeys is more interesting than evil robots trying to destroy humanity.
