First time for everything!!
After a fairly restless and yet very plesant night of rest with Annie, we spent the day at Disneyland! Unfortunately the night before I took Jessica out to the awesome Dave & Busters for some drinking fun. I was able to introduce her to some fun drinks... but sadly I think it was too much in too little time. She wasn't feeling all to well for the Tuesday Disneyland excursion.
So it was just Annie, myself, Robin and her man, her mom and brother. And if I didn't mention it before, her brother is severely autistic, so we are able to gain handicap acess for ALL the rides. Meaning never waiting for a ride for more than... 5 minutes. So for the most part, we did almost everything, but there was one little thing that was awesome, yet kinda screwy.
We broke Space Mountain!! Let me explain. Ever since they "updated" the ride there's a special car off to the side for people who need assistance getting into the car, as to not slow down the sensitive flow of the ride. Well they loaded us in and we were off! We did the ride and came back into the loading bay, but someone wasn't paying attention and moved the car in front of us instead of our car... so we couldn't get out! So they let us ride again so they could reset the proper cars... Well that didn't go over well either! Because of the mis-sync, they basically jammed the ride and needed to basically hard reset the entire ride. So we were stuck at about the 60% point of the ride, watching everything around us because the lights were on and we could see everything! (But not the giant cookie...) We were stuck for about 10 minutes before they released us manually and we completed the rest of the ride with the lights on. So when we got back, they asked if we wanted to go again, so we could ride with the lights out. So we did! And when we got back, we hopped out of the ride.
So that was a very unique experience on my favorite ride in Disneyland. I even got a couple pictures with my cell-camera (only one came out decent). So other than all that... it was a good eventful day. And I'm glad things went well.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY need to get my christmas shopping done... I've dropped the ball twice over the weekend and I just need to GO... rawr...
