Flying with a leg brace SUCKS!
So I moved my seat to be the 'front row' thinking I'd have more room. HA! Right I would have been better off leaving it so I could kind of stick my leg in the aisle. There was a wall right in front of my seat so my foot got to ride crammed at really awkward angles for the entire hour. At least the flight was only an hour! I did get wheeled around the airports in wheelchairs. Because have you ever tried crutches for a long period of time? Yeah not pretty.
My flight was uneventful and I am truly glad to be here. I miss this family. I miss sophomore year when they lived 10 minutes away and I spent more time at their house than my own. So it's nice to be here even though I am just a cripple. I got a nerf gun to defend myself from Caleb (who already tried to put saran wrap on the toilet!!!) He is reminding me all the time that I'm a cripple. The kids are funny and it's nice to see how they've grown though I miss the younger versions of them as well!
My leg hurts pretty bad today. I did too much yesterday without my crutches. So I haven't really moved off the couch today since I came upstairs. So a few days of healing and a day of set back. Still better than Saturday!
Tomorrow we are leaving sometime for our trip to Boston. Andy decided we should take two days to get there so that's what we're doing! Who am I to argue I'm just riding in the van! Well that's it for now! :-)
