Not letting this keep me down!
So i have to get an MRI. Big surprise. I can probably get an MRI tomorrow if I wanted BUT I can't get in to see an Orthopedist until Jan 10th. So why should I sit around when I have perfectly good plane tickets to take me to visit friends? Deauna swears I won't be a burden. I hope not. I mean really I CAN shower and dress myself (a feat I accomplished completely by myself today!) But when it comes to like needing something and being able to go get it myself I'm pretty sad. But every day I am feeling better. Better that is until I do too much or turn funny in the shower without my brace on (I did that today, I almost screamed), or when I hobble around my room putting weight on it. After that I'm in pain. But if I follow the drs orders and don't put any weight on it I'm good.
So needless to say packing while crippled is rather funny. I'm glad I actually had a pile going BEFORE Wendy's wedding. I'm sure I'm going to leave something behind. But there is Target right down the road. I'm not bringing my laptop now because I can't physically carry it on like I could before. That's a bummer but both families have computers so I'll be fine.
