all in all i had a good weekend.
i found out this week that joyce, from GA, is coming weekend after next to visit with her "cousin". it's my last weekend in miami, so it looks like it will be a good one! im excited...
let's see...friday i went to friday's for dinner with stephanie, from UF who also works with me at rtkl. even though i knew her at school, i never was friends with her...but she's really cool, and she likes to have a good time. so at fridays, we decided we wanted to go to the grove and hang out there. we went back to my house to change and drop off my car...we went to her apartment, waited for her bf to get out of work and her other friend, brian, to get there. we drove to the grove and went to a few bars. poor steph, her boyfriend is pretty anti-social, bc he didnt talk at all the whole time, and she was basically babysitting him all night. anyway, she ordered me a few different things, all tasted pretty yummy...i ended up talking to a girl from my high school who i wasnt really friends with, but she isnt one of the people who i ever wanted to avoid. she was always nice to me. anyway, it turns out she (erica alleman) had been studying architecture, and knows a designer at rtkl, and is interested in coming to see the firm...anyway, it was kind of cool to see her after 3 years. uhh what else...oh well that was about it....went home after that.
saturday i woke up soo early...strange bc i only had 4 hrs of sleep. but it caught up with me around 1pm, when i was trying to help my mom pick out accessories for the living room, and i was not into it at allll. i got my haircut and highlighted also. its pretty different...apparently, when my mom came to pick me up, she drove past me standing outside bc she didnt recognize me with bangs(dont worry, they are long and to the side). my brother freaked out, but said they look really good (he never compliments me, so he must have meant it). the highlights are supposed to be red, but i guess missy didnt really get what i said i wanted bc they are more of an auburn red color, very subtle, unlike the last time she highlighted my hair when they were clearly red.anyway i was supposed to go to a movie with diva, the receptionist at work who ive gotten pretty close to, but she went at 1030, and lets face it, we all know thats past my bed time, lol.
i've been working out every single day(basically every day) for a while now, but especially the last week or 2, like a crazy person. i know that im getting results (not necessarily weight loss yet) bc i dont get the least bit sore anymore, even when i so a looot of reps. im excited. ive noticed my abs are taking more definition and im getting stronger. give it a few months, i'll look awesome (lol, i justy jinxed myself...i'll probably lose all of my motivation once classes start again)...
darci is coming to miami this week...that should be interesting. i'm supposed to give her a tour of rtkl...we'll see ab that.
ok well that about covers it...my new rockstar look (haha, right) is on facebook
