Today, for the first time in a long time, I had a great work day. I felt productive and effective in the office; I was taken out to lunch and we got more office treats/snacks.
I started to use the headset for the phone and I really felt like a superstar talking away and doing a bit of filing.
So far the job is steadily hectic with scads of deadlines and bajillion meetings, but it's only for two guys so I'm pretty much on the ball when it comes to devoting my time to their needs.
(I'll have to reread this email in about 6 months when the honeymoon period is over.)
