okay, so it wasn't so bad - they didn't hate me or think me utterly incompetent, which is good for the first day.
Right now it's trying to identify, other than my direct bosses, the people in the company to make and keep friends with. It's usually makes all the difference when it comes to seeing results or getting things ordered.
It's just the bus - oh dear, the bus. If getting to work is the worst part of my day, then I'm doing fine.
