It's Avoiding the Super Bowl Sunday!
I would like to use this opportunity to publicly thank my husband for his keen disinterest in football. However many times it is explained to me, or the countless times I watch The Replacements, I will never ever understand or be able to fein interest in the sport.
So I filled today with watching some season 1 episodes of Doctor Who, laundry and making cookies with my mother in law. There's something about baking with a Mom that centres me. Plus we were making pumpkin chocolate chip cookies which are my current favourite.
I watched The Departed and I am obviously no film critic, but this movie was freakin' awesome. It was nice seeing Leonardo looking more like a late twenty something rather than a 13 year old. Plus there's something about those Bean-town accents that just does it for me.
