summer in Ohio

Day 13

It has been a long time since I have been able to make an entry in this log. We have been busy rehearsing what seems none stop, and finally we have two days off for rest and relaxation.

The Ohioans, that is what I will call the natives of this land, are very nice. Most of them are college students as well, although at first ibwas convinced that they many of the were high school students. None the less, they are very nice and very welcoming.

The show is finished being staged, and we have tries on our costumes for the show. Tech week starts on Wednesday and we have been promised that it shall be a very long and very boring week. Luckily I need to finish reading the Boleyn inheritance, and maybe I will be able to find a library to check out a few other reading materials.

The show is going to be really good. I am pretty excited to be working with a very talented cast. It will also be a great experience performing a show for more than two weekends. We will be performing 64 shows so I am excited to learn what that is like.

The west side story cast finished their run last night and moved out of the house this morning. They left a lot of food, and I got free laundry detergent (it's environmentally safe too) and also a shower caddy, which I desperately needed. We should be allowed to move into our own rooms very soon, but I am still not sure when that will be. Also we are waiting for our first pay check, which we should receive soon, but we don't know when... So yeah that hasn't been fun. Hopefully we shall get paid soon.

Nothing else to report at the moment. I hope to continue my log as frequently as possible.
