I'm pretty sick and tired of kids my age. Well, about 97% of them, for that matter.
It's mostly those "Me, Me! I'm Gooder Than Everyone" people, which compose about 90% of my age group. It's the general lack of common sense, maturity, knowledge, morality, and the many other things that most "adults" have.
First example has to do with our assembly today. This lady says she got beat up by a group of 6 girls throughout school, and half of our school laughed. What kind of idiots are you? Do you not realize that this happens every day to kids our age in schools across the country? Do you not realize that for this very reason, there are about 100 innocent, potential contribtuors taken away from us each year? Do you not realize that kids our age go to bed at night, thinking that their lives have no significance, no meaning, nothing, because of this? Or are you just too immature, shallow, or just plain stupid to realize this? It's not really funny. I mean, this hasn't ever happened to me, but I actually realize that this is what's going on in the world. Do you not realize that every kid out there has generally the same wants and needs? Every kid out there thinks the same way that you think, on a certain level. Other kids are not a pet, a toy, or a puppet for you to throw your jokes on to. They are not some emotionless punching bag that doesn't care if you beat them down, mentally or physically. All people wanted to be treated the same.
Next example of someone that needs to be beaten over the head with a book of knowledge is the 17 year-old girl that got arrested for selling pot in class at our school. I don't know who you are, but you're absolutely retarded. First of all, what made you think that you could get away with that? You're at school! Second of all, what's so cool about doing drugs? If you can't have enough fun when you're sober, then you're doing something wrong, and you need to reconsider some aspects of your life. Wake up and smell the coffee. You're not cool. You're a worthless dirtbag, who should be wallowing in the sewage. If you don't have enough sense at the age of 17 not to be doing something like that, then you better do some growing up, and quick, because otherwise you'll wind up working at McDonald's, serving up Big Macs until you're 62. Haha, have fun, retard.
The next thing that makes me a little angry is kids my age who think they're fine on their own. "Oh yeah, I don't need my parents! I hate them! They're strict! Their rules blow! I want to move out! I can't wait for college! I can't wait to get out of this town!" Well buddy boy, you're gonna need your momma for another few years. You better hold her close and hope that she's willing to help you out, because I got news for you - Your problems aren't gonna go away just by going off to college or by moving to a new town. Contrary to popular belief, you don't just step over some invisible barrier the day you graduate, and become an adult. Just like when you turn a certain age, you don't automatically become a new person. It just doesn't happen. That little slip of paper called a diploma does not make you an adult. Like it or not, you're gonna have to grow up and take responsibilities for your actions. Like it or not, one day, our generation is going to have to step up and start making some contributions to this world. Our generation has a choice: We can either be the lazy, non-caring, separated, regression era, or we can step up to the plate, come together, and make a change in this world. That question can't be answered by me, though. I've already got the answer I have in mind.
Oh well. This whole thing probably didn't make sense. I'm just saying that there's absolutely no hope for about 80% of my generation. Luckily, I've already written off most of the people that I'm talking about. It's just pathetic.
I'm just glad that I have friends and a girlfriend that are in that small majority...the kids that can see both sides of the box. Surround yourself with those kind of people. Do whatever you have to do to realize this, then figure out a way to try and change this. Somehow, you've got to make your mark on this world.
