Sylar had been worried about going back and seeing her, especially after the way their last…session, you could call it, had ended. The fact that she didn’t know whether or not she wanted to remember everything they had had together was still weighing heavily on his mind. A few years back he wouldn’t have cared, not really. He would have told her

He laughed a little at the memory, because he could remember the expression on her face, and the way she'd been annoyed when it turned out he was just lazy.
He let her guide his hand down, and then murmured happily when he this time felt the kick, chuckling softly. "She definitely knows it's me," he said again and nodded firmly, because obviously this confirmed it to him. "Are you okay though? I can take my hand away if you want..." he offered, though it was obvious that he didn't really want to as he moved his other hand to rest on the small of her back, pulling her a bit closer to him. "Have you thought of any names?"

As he told her about the time that she got worried about the fact that he had slept seventeen hours. "Well, no wonder! I don't think I've ever slept that long, not even with being pregnant." She shook her head at him. "Why were you so tired?"
There she was, charmed by the happy murmur and the look of joy on his face as he felt the baby kick again. "I'm fine." She assured him, slipping forward a little without really noticing what he was doing. It didn't freak her out obviously. "I don't know." She gave a quiet pause, thinking. "For some reason I was drawn to the name Virginia." She shrugged, not really knowing.

"I don't know! I was just tired, from work I think, and I just slept. The bed was comfortable and since I didn't have to get up and do anything, I could just sleep as long as I wanted, so I did," he told her and grinned, looking a bit boyish even in the way he was smiling. "I like sleep, obviously."
"Virginia?" His gaze snapped up and he stared at her for a long moment, before that uncontainable urge boiled up in him again, and he pulled her to him to kiss her again, though like before let go quickly. "Virginia. That...that's my mother's name. We talked about it, names, before. A long time ago. And, since you named Noah after your Father...it seemed...suitable, to name a potential daughter after my mother."

She rolled her eyes at him. "Obviously. I like sleep too but I don't get that much between these two." She motioned between her belly and to Noah who was sleeping in the playpen.
When he looked startled at her, she blinked at him before suddenly she was pulled into his arms and kissed again. Was it just his imagination or did she kiss him back? "Oh." Well, that made sense now. "I like the name Virginia, so I suppose it's fitting. What about middle names? Did we discuss any?"

"Well, now that you're coming home I can help you. I don't mind getting up with Noah, no matter how much I love sleep, but, obviously I can't help you take care of this one," he said, his hand fondly resting on her stomach again. "Not until she's born at least, and then I'll help you as much as I can..."
If she did kiss him back, he was going to go sing from the roof tops later that night. They were falling back into the way they were before, and it made his heart swell, because maybe, just maybe she wouldn't have to remember. She could fall in love with him again, and everything would be like their first time. At least that was a back up plan, if nothing else worked. "It's nice," he nodded, and then shrugged his shoulders a bit. "Well, we mentioned 'Rose', but nothing was ever set in stone, so whatever you like, really."

"Really?" She lifted her brows at him, surprised by him once more. "Are you hands on then?" She glanced over at Noah as she caught signs of movement but he wasn't quite awake yet. He was just starting to stir. "I would have thought, with your work, you wouldn't have a lot of time."
Unaware of what he was thinking, she nodded in agreement to the name being nice. "I like Rose. What other names do you like?" She asked, curious as she continued to rub a hand against the side of her small belly to ease the little dancer inside of her.

"I try to be," he nodded, and even more when she commented about how it must be difficult with his job. "Yeah, but that's the whole thing," he started, glancing over to the play pen and then going over to it, and he leaned down to pick Noah up, despite the slightly cranky whine. "Since I'm away so much with work," he continued once he'd returned to her side. "I try to do as much as I can when I'm at home, since, it's not like you can just point to the TV and tell him that's Daddy, since it's me, but not...me. You know what I mean. And since I don't technically need sleep, everything works out well."
He gave Noah a gentle little squeeze, though didn't try to force him to wake up just yet. "What else I like? I like Emily...Not with Virginia, but just, in general. But what do you like?"

She nodded, watching him move to pick Noah up even though the boy wasn't really awake yet. "How do we do it?" She asked, curious. "I mean, with Nathan being my father and you being my husband...obviously it must be hidden still that Nathan was my father." It must be weird for her at times.
"Hmm, I like Dawn." She shrugged a bit, rubbing the side of her belly. "Or Gabriella."

"Do it?" he asked, staring at her for a moment before it clicked as to what she was meaning. "Oh, well. Nathan never really told anyone about you, now did he? Your parents know, obviously, but other than that, there aren't really all that many people left. Of course, Suresh has tried to bring it to the papers, and when he did, I simply gave blood. Even though I look like Nathan, I still have my own DNA, and it's nothing like yours."
"Dawn, huh?" he said thoughtfully, though at her next suggestion his eyebrows shot up. "Gabriella? Really?"

She waited for him to catch on to what he meant and then she nodded. "Makes sense." Of course, his blood would prove there was no relation between them. She sighed softly. "Is that another reason we were considering leaving and disappearing?" Then they could be together openly without having to hide behind her dad.
"Yes, don't you like those names?" She asked him, quietly serious.

"Yeah," he nodded slowly and sighed. "It was, just...to make things easier, especially when Noah came along, because of course, Molly understood, and knew it was me all along, but for Noah, it could be very confusing sometimes."
"No, no it's not that, Claire, it's just..." He paused and bit his lip. "You don't remember my first name, do you?"
Reply
"Right. But he understands now that it's you and not Nathan who is your father?" She wondered how they had convinced him to play along. "When were we going to leave?"
She paused, studying him before she caught on. "Gabriel, right?"

Sylar nodded at her question, grinning a bit as he watched Noah's thumb blindly finding its way to his mouth, and he hugged him again.
"Yeah, it's Gabriel. I don't use it, obviously, but, it's my name," he said, smiling at her. "Not that I don't like Gabriella."

"Well, we have a couple months or so before we need to decide." She smiled softly at him, moving over to the fridge to open the freezer so that she could pull out the plate of cookies that he had put in.
