Writing a dissertation is hard. Whoever thought 15,000 words was too much? I find I'll be cursing myself when it comes time to get the word count DOWN to 15,000. :( It could be worse, I could have slacked off and either not be able to write 15,000 or leave myself no time to revise. So I win, kind of.
Am very excited to be moving to Exeter though. I went down on Monday for a recruitment night, which the Manager ended up saying he wasn't sure why he invited me down for the recruitment night when we should have just set up a trail shift. But on the bright side, I showed initiative and that I love the company so much and like working for them that I went out of my way. Exeter is just so peaceful and quite and green! There is no green around where I live, the mundane grey of the city and Bemmy specifically make me sad. The sky is already so grey, there needs to be loads of green spaces to make up for it!
I'm also looking forward to Christmas, as the family is planning to come over this year. Grandparents and all. It will be wonderful to see them. Not surprisingly, Mr. G can't come to England. So here's to a few things ticked off my to do list.
1.) Bully Lush Exeter into giving me a job - in progress, trial shift 10/9
2.) Finish writing my dissertation - Just have conclusion and revisions left
3.) Pack - Started on second suitcase! (Use up all of my Bath Bombs and Bubble Bars as the new house does not have a bath tub)
4.) Move - One suitcase full of clothing moved
5.) Figure out or go to Americaland to close my bank accounts with Chase
6.) Lots of working in the meantime
7.) Spend as much time with Mish as possible! - One successful time! There should be more!!!
