Waffle House Angel

Prepare yourselves for the "funny." Saturday night Scot and I attended Jenna's party, lots of good stuff happened there. But this story is about something much more worth while. I promise you'll than me once you've read onward. Around 6AM we make our way to my car, leaving the festivities.. on the drive home we talked about the usual stuff: life, woman, status, views on life, and so on. Scot suggest we visit the local Waffle House and I couldn't argue with that. We walk in and everything seems normal, as normal as Waffle House gets early in the morning. The waitress comes to our table, a quirky older lady who has a certain spark to her. She's super nice and asks us what we would like to order, Scot orders but I tell her I have no money and she leaves. Ten minutes later she comes around with Scot's food and to my surprise lays a waffle in front of me. She looks at me and whispers "And this waffles for you, to show you God loves you," it was one of the nicest gestures anyones made in a long time, but I'm the guy with "The power of Christ compells cock!" scribbled over my front door! I don't suddenly believe in God at all, I do however believe once more there is good in people. If religion makes me people act so kind, maybe it has some purpose. It's still for weak minded people who need to be controlled in order to stay in line. At any rate though it made me smile and laugh endlessly. Praise Waffle House and the "ANGELS" who work there.
