My house is 82°F, but it's ten degrees hotter outside. And it is ten at night. This is hotter than it is most summer days. I want my normal weather back.

So not only did my kids get a week off of school as last Sunday's snow became ice and slush, but the snows came again on Saturday, curtailing our Christmas shopping expedition. It looks like my kids get an extra week of Winter Break. It snowed here on Sunday, hasn't melted, and will snow again tomorrow. I'm hoping it will all melt by the twenty-fourth because otherwise I won't make it to Christmas at my mother's new house ( Read more... )
