Story idea

A friend of mine got a fortune cook that read, "This week concentrate on your teamwork skills." and I thought that might make a good story with the obligatory 'in bed' added to the end, but I couldn't think any story to fit with it. This morning I finally did. Here is a summary because I may never get around to writing it.

Three Minus One is Nothing

Three characters - Senior (aka Zorro) athlete, stoic, quiet except with his friends, naturally dark skin, short dark hair (Black? Hispanic? South Asian? Native American?) prefers hard and fast and never imagined bottoming or coming out until he fell for F; Junior social guy with lots of smart friends, long platinum hair, pale white skin, rich blue eyes, likes kisses and caresses and didn’t come out because it wasn’t ; freshman [I don’t know what he looks like, but both S & J see the potential for gorgeousness in him]

Three parts: Part one - Junior’s POV: J’s eyes are caught by a cute freshman. His eyes flow to his secret lover. S is also looking at F. J’s gut clinches, but tries to still his heart. They will be all right. The next Friday when they are in bed, S mentions F. He tells J to get to know him. J had only held back because F would pull them apart and he loves S even as he falls for F. That next week he talks to F every day. F’s eyes light up when he spots J, but also when he spots S, who is also getting to know him. F will rip the two of them apart. J knows he will. But he doesn’t want to be the one left out.

The next Friday, S mentions that F is warming to him. The next week J is almost desperate. He touches F as he talks to him. J worries that S will invite F over in J’s place. Threesomes always leave someone out. That Friday J sends S a text saying he can’t spend the night. S catches him after school. He’s never spoken to him in public before. F comes up behind S as he is berating J; they haven’t missed a single Friday in two years. F grins when he sees them and asks if they are together. S says yes (much to J’s surprise) and asks if F would like to join them. F looks them both over and agrees. This Friday is at J’s house. He invites them in and they head for the bedroom. Clothes come off. F says that he’s never been with anyone before, S says that’s all right neither have they. S goes for F and J is resigned to being left out, but F reaches for him.

It takes them weeks to work out how to never leave anyone out, but despite J’s fears they do work it out. F is much gentler with J than S ever is, but he also likes it hard and fast like S prefers to give it. Somehow the three are better than the two ever were. F starts topping S as S is topping J. S & J are even closer than before. S can’t keep his hands of J as F tells then how wonderful they are and how much he lives them.

Part two (that I thought of first) - Freshman’s POV: a freshman is comfortable snuggled between a junior and a senior. They get together like this every Friday after school. By October, F can’t imagine what it would be like without his two lovers. A Tuesday in early December Junior gets sick. F insists on staying with him in the nurse’s office. J is constantly throwing up. F holds J’s hair out of the way and teases that it’s too much to hope that they just got him pregnant. J squeezes him hand leans against him. F calls J’s sister because he isn’t allowed in the ambulance and he doesn’t want J to be alone. After the next class ends he searches out S and tells him J is in the hospital. S’s friends wonder why F is telling S: S & J hardly know each other. S ignores them and tells F that he’ll take him by after school. At the hospital J’s sister is glad to see them. She lets them into the room even though the doctor has said no visitors. F strokes J’s even paler than normal skin and passes J’s hand without the IV to S to hold. J’s sister looks on in satisfaction. She says that "Zorro" treats her brother better now that F is with them.

The doctor comes in and is angry about the visitors. S stands his ground and asks what J has. It is contagious? Because if it is, then they might have it too. They were with him on Friday night. J opens his eyes and looks around. When his gaze falls on F he smiles and says that he knew that if S was there, F would be there too. That next Friday F spends the night with S. After they make love they lay in each other’s arms. F comments that it isn’t the same without J. S says nothing. F lifts his head so he can see S’s face and says that it won’t be the same without S either, once he goes off to college. S rubs F’s hair and says, I know. You have a heart bigger than the heavens.” F grins and says, “I love you, too.”

They are very gentle with J when he first comes home and are content with cuddling. J says that he doesn’t want to stop them. They make him feel good without tiring him out and each other without leaving him out.

Part three - Senior’s POV: He worries that they will fall apart after he leaves for college. He feels the need to stake his claim. He should come out and let people know that the three aren’t just friends that have nothing in common. (People know that they are friends since Christmas break, when J was in the hospital.) J’s family doesn’t want him to go away for college because of his illness. F plans on going to a local CC, so he’ll be nearby even after he graduates. S will be the odd one out. Once S’s gone, people will assume that J & F are lovers. They already do with how careful and loving F is of J, but no one realizes just how protective S is of them both. He wishes he would have picked a closer college. He never thought he and J would last this long. He never thought it would hurt so much to say goodbye.

[I need some action that end with them in bed and happy, but I haven’t thought of one yet.]
