today at 2:14am, for the first time in over a year, i started my period.. actually, it was a small spot of blood in my pajama bottoms and then it was over, but the cramping and bitchiness has set in and may stay for the required 3 to 5 days.. brace yourselves, kids

lol.. i never knew it would be that difficult to figure out that i'm definitely the lucy.. i swear i get myself into so many messes..

i don't know why.. i just don't.. probably something to do with childhood stuff, but i haven't been the the gynecologist since i was 18.. i had an STD test ran the last time i was in the hospital (january) and i'm good to go in that area, but as far as anything else goes, i have no clue.. i'm really scared it's going to look like a bomb exploded in there or something.. anyway, this is turning into TMI..

I was expecting you to tell me you were on some sort of birth control that caused you not to have a period.

I was planning on giving you sooo much crap about being on birth control and with a woman. I had this whole funny rant about the birds and the bees...

haha! that would just be retarded.. actually, the one time i went, they once put me on birth control to make me start having a period, but it didn't work and instead it made me very sick.. so, no more birth control for me..

you can still tell me the birds and bees rant if you want.. i've never heard the birds and bees story before.. my mom was never around to tell me and my dad assumed i knew.. lol

I have the same problems with birth control. You can take progesterone pills that'll give you periods without the hassle of birth control. I find way less side effects from the progesterone...

oh, thank you for the heads up.. ortho tri-cyclen really kicked my ass.. i think i just need to go to the dr and get checked out.. i just always think i'm dying and would rather die without knowing what the problem is.. then again, i'm extremely over-dramatic..

why would you want to have your period if you don't have to have it?

because it's unhealthy to not have a period.. it decreases your chance of having children.. and when you eventually do have a period, the cramps you've been missing out on by not having one catch up with you.. the pain is almost unbarable..
