Mass Effect 2

I just want to say that any game that allows my human female character to have a romantic relationship with this guy is awesome!
(warning: link is a spoiler.  I haven't actually watched it since I'm not there yet!)

I'm not certain if it allows your male character to hook up with him, but I'm guessing yes.  ME2 is nothing if not all inclusive!  I could choose women or men from any species.  The only thing this game will not do (as far as I can tell) is let you have more than ONE love interest at a time (meaning per game.)  So, it's equal opportunity, but does not promote promiscuity.

You can also choose to continue pining for the jerky love interest from the first game from what I understand.  But he's mad at you so will never be your love interest again.  At least not in ME2.  ME3 - who knows?  (And YES, you can import your character from the first game into the second.  Sound cool?  It IS!)

It's okay.  Kaiden was about as boring as a character could get.  And they got the same VA as Carth Onassi from KOTOR to voice him, which means that this poor VA only gets to act out the irritating boy-scout characters.  UGH!  On the other hand, Garrus is fun as hell, and unlike jerky boyfriend from game one, Garrus remains LOYAL and comes back from that game to fight beside you!  And to have awkward alien love scenes with you if you want.   :-/

I'm seriously going to get lost in this fandom soon.  NOT KEWL!  I do feel a one shot brewing.  I'm thinking I might try my hand at SECOND PERSON.  (I hate second person, but all writers should try what they hate at least once.)

I Heart GARRUS, though I'm not looking forward to the love scene.  That might give me an uncomfortable-ness, as Jayne from Firefly might say.

If you haven't tried Mass Effect, you should.  It's like crack, only without the shakes, third degree burns and rotten teeth.  Or is that meth?  Whatever.  It's fun and addictive, is the point.  So...like drugs for addiction, but unlike them in that it is not deadly.  It might only sort of ruin your life until you complete the game.  Then you'll be an upstanding citizen again.
