This whole music therapy thing had better be worth it...

Holy shit today was a long day. It's only day 3 of my classes, and I think things are only going to get crazier.

7:00 catch bus to campus
7:30 tune/practice guitar for 20 minutes before class
8:00 play guitar in class for an hour
9:00 hour of music theory - modes discussion, yay
10:00 hour of music therapy introduction
11:00 brief 10 minute break, then back to practicing guitar until lunch
12:00 lunch, carting my guitar across the plaza to a little cafe thing in a tower
1:00 required "convocation" class, which basically means I sit in the recital hall and listen to people perform
2:00 hour of choir
3:00 two hours(ish) of practicing a combination of singing, piano, and guitar
5:00 half a voice lesson
5:45 break for dinner (taco bell, yum), carting my guitar across campus to the Bernhard center and back, and also stopping to buy textbooks
7:00 back to music school for some chillin with my computer for 20 minutes
7:30 other half of voice lesson
8:00 hour and 45 minutes of choir
10:00 catch a cab back home

And all of these things were done carting my guitar around with me because I arrived at campus too late to secure a locker big enough to fit it in.

Essentially, I spent 2 hours in actual class, 5 hours singing, 2 hours playing guitar, and about half an hour playing piano today. I ache all over from carrying around my guitar and my backpack that weighs a ton, from getting up and down to sing, and from walking all over.

And I still have homework for tomorrow's 8AM class.

Oh the joy.
