Christmas Eve is Coming!
I don't get nearly as excited for Christmas as I do for Christmas Eve.
I love the way Christmas Eve feels...I always have. The whole world gets quiet, and it feels like everyone's waiting together, holding their breath for the next morning. It gives me time to sit and be myself and figure out what's going on. In a way, it's my New Year's Eve...the time in which I get to sit and look over the previous year and think about what the year to come is going to be like. I could care less for the presents of Christmas or the celebration of New Year's Eve; just give me the stillness of Christmas Eve and I have a check point for the year to come.
