A Criteria for a Judgment of a libertarian Strategy.

Libertarians of Belarus have proposed a good criterion for assessing the propriety of the chosen strategies for libertarian groups of different states regarding international politics and relations between libertarian parties, movements, and groups in cases where tensions in the international situation and conflicts of interests of states arose. Libertarians of different countries, created by violence and oppression, should not conflict with each other following a conflict between the polities where they live.

The main idea of the strategy is that any conflict between the general lines of libertarian movements of different countries which are in conflict must be avoided. The other words, a conflict between states should not lead to conflicts between groups of libertarians since, first of all, libertarianism is a radically anti-nationalist theory. If such a conflict between two libertarian groups emerges, then it should be considered a signal that the strategy chosen by the group of libertarians is erroneous or detrimental. For example, before the hot phase of the war in Ukraine, American libertarians did not support the policies of Russia and Putin’s regime. They pursued the goal of putting the state of the USA and its allies under pressure. However, after the beginning of the active phase of the war in February 2022, many American libertarians, justly attacking their state, the Fed, the American military-industrial complex, and American imperialism, took the position of promoting the interests of the Putin’s regime, what was frontally contradicting the position of Eastern European libertarians, especially groups in Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia. Instead, American libertarians should be focused on the ideas of the NAP, the protection of private property rights of the victims of aggression, the failure of states and their interventions and regulations, the importance of international cooperation and free global markets, open markets for manufacturers and buyers of weapons, commercial hunting for war criminals and leaders of groups of aggressors. Such a strategy would only strengthen the position of the LP US from all political perspectives; the LP US would use the crisis in Ukraine to effectively promote libertarian ideas and gain political points.

If, for some fantastic reason, libertarians in Ukraine and Russia supported Putin and his regime, then it would be acceptable for libertarians in other countries to adopt the strategy of American libertarians.

So, those who did create a contradictory strategy are wrong, and those who did not change the strategy are right. Before the outbreak of a full-scale war in Ukraine, American, Ukrainian, and Russian libertarians agreed on almost all issues.
