Hey, Asli! I can say something nice about Braga.
Okay. I know I have been downright mean and blunt about my feelings regarding TPTB and Voyager. I still think that what Braga did to the series finale was criminal. However, I have admitted and will admit now that the man can write great action episodes. Can't think about a personal relationship without sex being the only component, but he can write battle scenes like no one's business.
I just saw the two-part episode "Year of Hell" and I have to say it was mind boggingly good. I loved Janeway in these episodes. Definitely in a kick butt, take names kind of mood our Captain Janeway. That alone was worth watching! I loved the ending, which I had already suspected before I saw it. Loved the whole thing with the watch. Oh, and the tea cup scene reminded me of your tea cup scene, Asli. Your scene takes on an even greater significance after seeing that. Chakotay looks really good all sweaty. :-)
I still can't stand the man (Braga not Chakotay), but I will tip my hat to him about this episode. *whispers* And TDB was enjoyable to watch as long as she is hanging on Tuvok's arm and not Chakotay's. *wink*
