RL Sucks
Real life has been kicking. My. Ass.
My 74 y/o mom totalled her car shortly in January (she's fine) but now she's decided to give up driving. She also got herself WAY over her head in debt from stupid, stupid decisions and out-of-control spending, which we didn't discover until she wrecked her car because she had taken a lein out against it (for a HELL of a lot more than that peice of junk was worth!). So, not only have we taken to driving her all over the place, but we've taken over her finances. She is getting a bit too ditzy for comfort. I'm worried. Her common sense seems to have completely dried up.
Then, my daughter wants to move back to the area (she lives several hundred miles away) but doesn't have the time while holding down two jobs or energy to look for a new job or place to live soooo, yep, Mom to the rescue. Looking for work for her (sending out at least 10 resume's a day) and a place for her that will fit in her budget (low) and my Mother's standards (high). She's got to land the job herself once she is contacted from the resume's, of course.
Anyway, between "babysitting" my Mother and my daughter (son seems to be doing fine) and holding down a full time job and finding time for hubby, RL is NOT my friend at the moment. Calgon, take me away!!
