I know that folks are dying to see how the cover art turned out for RFD. And while I do have the full file on You Send It still, I haven't heard from the folks at RFD to find out if they've downloaded it and what they think of it. BUT, what I can do is post the front cover and the back cover and tell you that the border we put around it is a gradiated black to blue to black. So, here we go!
Please be advised that this cover art is TOTALLY NSFW!
This is the front cover. The six people in this picture are
c4bl3fl4m3, Louis, Luke, Butterfly, Me and
potpourrifae. We had to modify the picture like 3 different times to get it to come out to being this cool. We had a friend do a touch up to try and make the webcam base image look okay, Eldritch blacked out the space above the heads and added in the monuments to cover up my trashy floor, and I did the sunbursts on the faces with a GIMP tool called Gradient Flare that could be color shifted, which is why we look like we have a uniform glowing energy body.
This piece was drawn by
dmlaenker and it's entitled "L'Enfant's First Draft." He, being a city planning wonk, decided to tap into the mind of the city planner of DC and restore the "original" design. As you may see it is a chest and harness motif, with large green phallus as the baseline for the national mall, and fishnet stockings radiating out to Northeast and Southeast. The capitol building rests squarely on the cockring, and the white house and Supreme Court flank opposite sides of the phallus. A large greenspace was also originally planned between NE and SE to resemble a massive buttplug. The two rivers have retained their original names of Patowmack and Anacostank. Had the metro been designed at this time it would have begun by running from Anacostank to Stankonia.
