I'm playing a whole heap of solo shows in june - with my new guitar/laptop set-up...it's not really glitch and cut-up orientated,more like a glorified effects rack and certain noise making tools...Anyways,one in Sydney and two in Western Australia.

I should also be on RTR-FM on the 8th (morning of 9th) on Anthony Williams' radio show and play a few tunes and talk a whole heap of shit.Anyone who heard me on his show last year knows I can talk a lot of pointless crap but somehow tie it back in to the subject matter.
Much to my chagrin,Kate can't make it over.The original plan was to go after my birthday (2nd of July) with her and do everything then but circumstances like school and the inability to be a naive planner like me sent that plan down the crappa...well,maybe next time eh !
I've not been buying as many records as I used to which is a little sad cuz I can't really download much either due to my broadband connection here so I've been listening to some old CDs/new CDRs + downloads and such so I've got some recent faves that I can't get enough of at the moment and find totally enthralling :)

...they all just amaze with their varying amounts of meloncholy,noise,minimalism and underlying complexities.There's a few things I would like to buy such as the double disc Sutekh remixes collection on Leaf Label and the self titled Jesu album on HydraHead but I guess I'll just have to wait.On the upside,Kate bought me the new Mapstation record 'Distance Told Me Things To Be Said' on ~Scape.She doesn't have a clue who Stefan Schneider is and doesn't know how much I dig all this 'warm' German electronic stuff but hey,she was feeling 'generous' and I was glad I came out of it with a Mapstation record :)
