coming second best is close to ideal...
so week's vaguely uninteresting...haven't had much to think about or do...looking forward to coming back to canberra during easter and the week after that break...should be good to catch up with everyone i want to catch up with in that time :)
it's funny how the mind works...it occured to me last night upon hearing some news...it's odd how even though you might make a mutual promise to each other about sustaining a friendship through certain activities or just contact,it just slowly dissolves becuz situations and circumstance.so once where you may do a whole heap of things together and talk a lot,you no longer make the connection between something and yr friend or talk as much becuz they just aren't there in the picture and it's not either persons fault,it's just born out of circumstance - but that's life i guess !
we went to the footy tonight and went to the bar/brewery next to the stadium.the dragons got pumped by the knights,it were fucking embarrassing on their part.bridget goes for the dragons seriously too so we ripped on her about the poor performance (and i think it'll be my humourous subject of the week too).the americans we hang out with (the colgate uni peeps) are really awesome and good fun and this beer we had at the bar was great - smooth as fuck :)
we started drinking at quarter to 5 though,that was a little distressing.not the early start,more the fact that there was no hesitations about the early start.my roommate ross had a maths exam though so we feel it was alright in the situation.
so i'm letting my hair grow out a bit though i intend to trim it down soon...not sure when then.for now i'm getting the under-rated comb over back into action and pampering my hair a bit too...it's all very 'metro'...it feels awkward too.
