ATTENTION ALL ARTISTS!
I really need an artist to host for the June 2nd Kalamazoo Art Hop. Paintings and photographs are IDEAL. We have a lot of space: conference room and spaces in the hallway to fill, so the more pieces you have, the better. I need at the very least 10-15 pieces. I will have to check out and approve any work first as my bosses are pretty conservative. The business will put on a reception for you (includes food, wine and other goodies) and will display your until the next Art Hop we participate in (which would be in September). The purpose of the Art Hop is to showcase local artist and for them to sell some their art (yes, we you will be able to sell pieces, so make sure all of your art is priced!) The Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo is the one who organizes the event and does a great job of promoting the artists. For this Art Hop, the Kalamazoo Gazette is I need to have a decision made by April 10th, so if you are interested, please contact me right away.
